| June 17, 2009, Trivandrum:Technopark based Toonz Animation India and Telegael Group based in Galway, Ireland have entered into a strategic partnership agreement. Through the partnership, Toonz and Telegael will combine their resources to develop, co-produce and finance a slate of animation projects for global distribution.
Toonz is a leading provider of animation to the top US and European producers. Telegael is a live action and animation production house which operates one of Europe's leading post-production studios. Toonz and Telegael have previously worked together on the highly acclaimed Freefonix animation series for BBC, which has emerged as a cult show in the UK and is now being distributed internationally.
“Our fruitful partnership for the Freefonix project served as a prelude for this strategic alliance. We aim to mutually leverage our competencies in our core domains.
